The City of Oregon is committed to ensuring that all homes have access to water during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can guarantee that no home will lose access to water and will suspend scheduled shut offs in March. If your household has difficulty paying the water bill on time, please contact City Hall (815-732-6321) to arrange a repayment plan. This program will be on a person-by-person basis. All late payments will be tracked and added on to the following monthly bills in smaller increments to maintain affordability.
There are several payment options for paying your water/sewer bill
- By Mail – Please include the utility bill stub and note parcel number on your check – DO NOT SEND CASH. (115 N 3rd Street Oregon, IL 61061)
- Drop Box – Located at City Hall. There is a black drop box on the exterior of the front door.
- Credit Card (Online) – Click here to pay your water or sewer bill online using a credit card. A convenience fee will be charged in addition to your utility bill.
THE MARCH 2020 bills will be mailed out on the 27th which is a week later than normal.
