Mark Twain Day

The annual autumn Mark Twain Day is hosted by the Oregon Rotary Club and located on the dock of Maxon’s Restaurant and Riverboat at 1469 IL Rt 2 N, Oregon.   The event occurs on the first Saturday after Labor Day each year.

All inclusive in the price of a ticket:  Paddlewheel boat rides, music,  hog roast, corn on the cob, pies, ice cream and refreshments.  Mark Twain strolls through the crowd, music in the gazebo and on deck as you cruise through the deep valley of the Rock River.   An amazing time for the whole family.  The fundraiser provides coats and boots for needy children in our local schools.
