At the 4-23-24 City Council meeting the Council approved the 2023 Comprehensive plan. This plan will help shape the future of Oregon by setting the vision for the community. “Huge thank you to the volunteers who joined the Steering Committee for this project as well as Northern Illinois University for their extensive work on the project. Lastly thank you to the Ogle County Board who provided a grant for partial funding of this updated plan.” – Darin DeHaan, City Manager.
