2026 Oregon Farmer’s Market

After switching day/time/location in the second half of last season’s market, we have decided to make the change permanent. Markets will now run 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞-𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 from 𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟎𝐚 to 𝟐:𝟎𝟎𝐩 at 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐚, 𝟒𝟏𝟖 𝐖 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭, 𝐎𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐧.

We are also excited to welcome our new market manager, 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐲! Taryn is a longtime vendor with her sourdough business, Dough Peep, and also runs the Byron Farmers Market, so no doubt the market is in excellent hands!

Many have been asking why we are making these changes and, while there are several reasons, the primary reason is this—In the second half of the season, when fresh produce is abundant, our attendance was not. We worked so hard to create a fun, family-friendly weekly event that we ended up moving away from the ultimate goal of providing fresh, local, nutritious food to our community. Changing the day and time, along with extending hours and locating in a more central spot, allows for more access to our community members, as well as those coming through or staying in town.

One thing that is not changing is that 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦! Please, if you or someone you know uses SNAP/Link, visit us at the info booth to redeem SNAP funds for market money, which can be used with multiple market vendors.

We know that some people may be disappointed in losing the fun and festivities of the River’s Edge Farmers Market and we will certainly miss the awesome times we’ve had. However, we see this as a new opportunity to support our local food producers and help bolster the amazing events we have still going on in our community! Lots of fun still to be had and we hope to see you all at our first market on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟕!
