Meet us at the market, down by the river and just behind the Oregon Fire Department. Located at 123 N 2nd Street in Oregon, IL.

There are two, free on-site parking options available off of Washington St and N 2nd St. The street is closed off to car traffic to create a safe and friendly pedestrian space assessable to cyclists, strollers, and on-foot visitors. MAP

Our 2025 market season runs every Thursday June-July 5:00-7:30p. August and September dates are TBD. We are working on some exciting updates and will announce those details soon!

June 12th	Marques Morel, sponsored by the City of Oregon	Community Resource Day. Come check out what the Ogle County Health Department is growing. Micro green grow kits will be on display. Partnered with Happy Leaf LED to grow nutritious micro greens on a budget. Recipes and education to be highlighted at this info booth. This microgreen program has been nationally recognized. What a great resource to our region!
June 19th	Alex Sitze, sponsored by the City of Oregon	BUBBLE DAY! Brought to you by the Oregon Public Library. The most magical evening at the market. Bring the whole family down and make bubbles of all sizes. Visit friends of the library booth to sign up for a library card and learn more about special library events.
June 26th	Korey C Pepper	Explore-A-Truck with the Oregon Fire Protection District. That’s right, all the big trucks will be out on display for your kiddo’s joyful discovery. This fire crew knows how to show off their rigs, so bring down the kids and let the exploring begin!
July 3rd	Bowling For Dollars	Natural Resource Day – details tbd

July 17th	Pete Low, sponsored by the City of Oregon	River Appreciation Day. A river clean up day is being organized by a subcommittee within the Sustainability Committee on behalf of the City of Oregon. More details coming soon!
July 24th	Marques Morel, sponsored by the City of Oregon	Summer Send off and STUFF THE BUS for OCUSD! And just like that we get to the end of summer and start preparing for new school routines. Help us stuff the bus with school supplies for our school aged population. Help these kid’s start their school year of right! Did we mention there will be face painting!

The River’s Edge Farmers Market offers SNAP & Link Match benefits.

When visiting the farmers market stop by the orange info tent. We’ll process your requested EBT amount and give you River Bucks to spend at qualifying vendors. Thanks to the Link Match program, you can also receive matching funds to be used towards fresh fruits and veggies, breads and cereals, meats, fish and poultry, seeds and plants which produce food for the household to eat, and dairy products. For example, if you spend $10 on your snap card, you automatically receive a free $10 through link match. So, $10 turns into $20!!

Deadlines to apply are posted in the application. Vendor fees apply this year. You may submit payment online or in-person at City Hall. All fees are directly applied to the market and help fund entertainment and special events. If you have any questions please contact the email provided above.
