Pay your Bill
The City of Oregon offers several options to pay your water/sewer bill.
- In Person – Cash, Check and Credit/Debit Cards are accepted at City Hall during our business hours.
- By Mail – Please include the utility bill stub and note account number on your check – DO NOT SEND CASH. (115 N 3rd Street Oregon, IL 61061)
- Drop Box – Located at City Hall. There is a black drop box on the front of the building, to the right of the door. Checks only, please.
- Online (credit or debit card) – Click here to pay your water or sewer bill online using a card. A convenience fee will be charged in addition to your utility bill.
- Direct Debit – Automatically pay from a bank account each month. See below.
Sign up for Direct Debit (Auto Pay)
The City of Oregon now has the capability to automatically withdraw monthly utility payments from your bank account on the bill due date. There is no fee to participate. You will continue to receive a bill each month and it will say “Thank you for participating in direct debit” so you will know you are enrolled.
If you would like to sign up for direct debit, complete the Direct Debit Authorization Form. Get the fillable form here or pick up a paper form at City Hall. Please also bring or attach a voided check from the account. A letter from your bank that includes your full name, routing number, and account number will work if you do not have checks. Return all information to City Hall to complete the sign up process.
Sign up for Email Bills
Please fill out the Email Billing Authorization Form and return it to City Hall if you would like to receive your monthly bill by email. You will no longer get the postcard bill in the mail. Emailed bills are sent from noreply@locis.com; please check your spam and always allow mail from that address.
